Tacoma Soccer Center hosts WISL Final Saturday as Stars meet United for title

The Tacoma Soccer Center has seen countless matches over the years, but there is something special about a Championship match. This Saturday February 14 at 7:30 PM the Western Indoor Soccer League (WISL) sends out a valentine to cap off its first season of play with a battle between the two sides with the best records all year long, the Tacoma Stars and Bellingham United. Tickets to the historic occasion are $10 for adults, $5 for military and seniors, $5 for kids ages 5-12, and free for kids under five years of age. Tickets are available online at TacomaStars.com. Sell-out capacity for the match is 700 fans. The Tacoma Stars finished their WISL regular season with an 8-0-0 record and advanced to the Championship match with a 10-5 win over the Oly Town Artesians last weekend in the semifinals. The Hammers of Bellingham United finished 5-2-1 before outlasting the Wenatchee Fire 8-6 in the other semifinal. The two clubs played twice this year with the Stars winning 4-3 in Tacoma back in November and 9-7 in Bellingham in January.
